Are our shopping habits sustainable?


Teachers discuss with students their shopping habits and stimulate the conversation between classmates about their favorite brands, how often they buy clothes, etc.

This discussion is aimed at making the students reflect on habits that may not look directly involved in climate change, but definitely have a huge impact on it, but most people are not aware of all the related consequences for the environment.

  • Do you use them all often?
  • Do you buy clothing online?
  • Which brands/shops you would most likely visit when going shopping?
  • Did you ever consider the environmental impact of clothing?
  • What solutions/mitigations could be employed to limit the impact of our clothing?
