Junior Science Cafè - Deforestation

The Junior Science Cafè are extracurricular venues in which two experts of different areas are invited by schools to talk and discuss with students about a given topic in an informal manner (e.g. Ted Talks).

Students must be in charge of the whole event: what topic will be discussed, which experts to invite, the sources to quote and promote discussions, the event agenda and preparation, and finally the event’s hosting.

Students can organize a Junior Science Cafè on the topic of deforestation and environmental conservation. With the teacher, they may choose a more specific topic on which revolve during the event, invite experts as speakers, organise the events’ agenda, invitations and location.
