“Let’s play with bioeconomy!”, BIOVOICES project
Mix
8 tablespoons of compost
4 tablespoons of flour
4 tablespoons of water
2 tablespoons of seeds (grass or wildflowers)
Shape the mixture into little balls
Let them dry for at least 24 hours
Seed balls: throw them to spread flowers!
This is a simple experiment but do not attempt it without an adult.

Coffee scrub
Mix
2 tablespoons of used coffee grounds with
1 tablespoon of oil (jojoba, olive or coconut)
Use it as a gentle scrub for your body and face!
This is a simple experiment but do not attempt it without an adult.

Homemade biodegradable pots
Mix in a pan
2 tablespoons of crushed eggshells with
2 tablespoons of water,
3 tablespoons of cornstarch
1/2 tablespoon of white vinegar
Then mix for a few minutes.
Put the pan on the stove and mix contents until it thickens
Mould the mixture around the Inside of an oven resistant cup
Bake it in the microwave (500 watt) for 3 minutes or in the oven (180° / 356°F) for 15 minutes.

Biogas factory in a bottle
Half fill a glass bottle with water
Add
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of brewer’s yeast,
Cover with your hand and shake it!
Stretch a balloon over the neck of the bottle
After a few minutes…the balloon will blow up!
Why? Your balloon is filled up with biogas
