TedEd Earth School is an online platform from
TedEd, American non-profit organisation dealing with technology. TedEd Earth
School is dedicated to educate children and youngsters on how human activities
contribute to Climate Change, providing easy-to-understand videos on the big
picture of human activity’s impact on environment, as well as going in depth on
specific topics, such as Energy, Transport,
Materials, Food Production, Nature, Society and Level of Change.
TedEd Earth School awards a Certificate when a cycle of videos are completed (i.e. completing any 30 video lessons).

Relevance
TedEd Earth School is
a good base for introducing basic
concepts on environment and climate change, as well as being a good
starting point for youngsters to understand the mechanisms lying underneath the
Climate Crisis.
It is also a very valuable source of
environmental education, as it explains through its videos how various
factors contributing to Climate Change are interconnected, based on practices
that can be changed with more eco-friendly solutions. Most importantly, it
teaches children and young people how much of the current modus operandi of industry is actually strictly depending on
consumers, and that can be changed if coordinated common actions are taken.
