Call for Action

Junior Science Cafè on sustainable mobility habits

The Junior Science Cafè are extracurricular venues in which experts of different areas are invited by schools to talk and discuss with students about a given topic in an informal manner (e.g. Ted Talks).

Students must be in charge of the whole event: what topic will be discussed, which experts to invite, the sources to quote and promote discussions, the event agenda and preparation, and finally the event’s hosting.

This Junior Science Cafè could be organised on a smaller scale, considering the age of the students involved in the organisation. The Cafè could be arranged as a closed event within the school, and students may organise a talk between themselves and explain to their fellow schoolmates from other classes what they have learned about sustainable habits regarding mobility and transportation.
