Introduction to the course

Are you a current or future manager interested in improving your skills in equity, diversity, and inclusion? The EDIFY EDU project partners are launching the MOOC "Enhancing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in the Workplace" this autumn. Designed for managers and professionals, this free online course helps improve EDI skills and approaches, enabling participants to pursue entrepreneurial initiatives based on EDI competencies, enhancing workplace equity, diversity, and inclusion. The course is available through an online platform, developed by DAISSy – HOU.

What makes this course essential?

The course addresses training needs and competency gaps from the EDIFY-EDU project, modernizes HE and VET management education, and develops a modular curriculum focused on EDI competencies through micro-credentials. It enhances Business & Management training, upskills the workforce, and maps competencies to European competence frameworks (e.g. EntreComp, LifeCom, DigComp), facilitating EDI and digital skill acquisition.

undergraduate HE students willing to attend trainings that can effectively and rapidly introduce them into the labour market (MOOC and Specialization Course).

What are the conditions to join the MOOC?

The MOOC, starting on Monday, 14th of October 2024 and ending on Friday, 13th of December 2024, is free and open for registration. Participants need to commit 10 hours per week and possess intermediate English skills. The course features core modules, practical applications, and case studies. Six live webinars with experts will be held, with recordings available later. As an online course, it offers 24/7 access to video lectures and reading materials, allowing learners to study at their own pace. Interaction with peers and tutors is facilitated through forums.

Open Badges and Certificate

Participants will receive open badges and certificate through the platform!
To earn open badges in each section of modules, participants must access the learning materials and achieve at least 70% on quizzes per module, in each section. A special golden badge will be awarded for successfully passing all six modules’ sections. A certificate of succesful completion will be issued for achieving 70% in each module for all course modules, and it will be available online, after submitting the final evaluation questionnaire.
