      • understand the CO2 emissions-related impact of human activity on environment and climate;

      • acquire knowledge of the Carbon cycle and sequestration;
      • acquire awareness about CO2 emissions and how they are produced in the main human activities (not just the ones which are directly linked to fossil fuel consumption).
      • develop critical thinking and problem solving skills on how to mitigate/reduce one’s carbon footprint.
